We want to share something new 🤍

Over the past few months, we’ve made a few changes at Larpool Mill including a new cedar shingle roof and lighting to our garden pergola.

It’s quickly become one of our favourite spots… whether that’s for long, relaxed dinners, a glass of wine in the evening, or simply sitting and listening to the gentle sound of the stream running alongside.

A space to gather, unwind and enjoy time together, whatever the occasion.

Originally built in the 1800s as a working flour mill, this historic Whitby property is full of character and quiet charm, from its distinctive round window to the original stonework that tells its story.

Today, Larpool Mill offers generous space for families and groups to gather, unwind and celebrate special occasions. It has also become a beautiful setting for intimate weddings and meaningful gatherings, adding a new chapter to its long history.

A big wheel is coming to Whitby from 9th July to 4th August 2025, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a ride daily from 11am to 7pm.

Towering above the cliffs, the wheel will provide stunning panoramic views of Whitby’s dramatic coastline, busy harbour and historic landmarks.

Situated on the green behind the iconic Whalebone Arch on West Cliff, tickets cost £5 for those under 1.4 metres tall, and £7 for anyone over 1.4 metres.

There’s no need to book in advance — simply turn up. Please note, the wheel won’t operate in bad weather and may close at short notice.
