The Corner House-Whitby Grade 2 listed pet free self catering cottage, sleeps 4, harbourside, in the heart of Whitby Old Town WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS - SORRY.

Situated in the very heart of the oldest, historic part of the east side of Whitby, The Corner House is one of the oldest properties, with a lease first being signed in 1636! Completely refurbished in 2014 and new to the holiday rental market, this cottage is perfectly placed, being as it is, on the corner of Grape Lane and Church Street, with no hills or steps to negotiate. It's also within very

easy reach of shopping and eating and drinking establishments, as well as being close to attractions and the beach. Open Plan Kitchen/Living Room

York stone flooring throughout the ground floor with two large feature rugs. Brand new, shaker style kitchen with solid granite worktops, ceramic hob and electric oven with extractor fan over, large ceramic sink, integrated washer/drier and fridge with freezer compartment. Spotlights to ceiling and under-counter lighting. Brand new gas central heating system throughout. In addition, a solid stone fireplace with electric, stove style, heater providing additional heating. Two leather two seater sofas and antique drop leaf dining table with high back leather chairs. Wall lighting and two ceiling chandeliers as well as additional lamps. First Floor (up a small, fairly shallow, flight of stairs)

Shower Room

Fully tiled, large shower enclosure, W.C and vintage wash basin. Illuminated mirror with integrated shaver plug, tiled flooring and useful storage shelving. Bedroom 1 (The Green Room)

Good sized bedroom with a king sized metal bed and gorgeous super king sized Christy duvet. Wall mounted television with Freeview and DVD player, a hanging rail and a shabby chic dressing table. Dual aspect windows with fabulous views and brand new double glazed windows! Bedroom 2 (The Sunshine Room)

Good sized bedroom with two single metal beds with lovely double sized Christy duvets, along with bedside tables and lamps. Wall mounted television with Freeview and DVD player. A good sized wardrobe with integral drawers within a cupboard and drop down, wall mounted table for extra flexibility. Window with fabulous views of the harbour, and brand new double glazed windows! We also have a highchair, stair gate, potty and toddler training toilet seat but no travel cot yet.

Fancy staying in a Grade 2 listed, jettied cottage. Waking up to fantastic views. Watching and listening out for the steam trains arriving and leaving just over the harbour. Having pubs, restaurants, cafes, museums and brilliant independent shops all within very easy walking distance.

Of course you do, who wouldn't; and all of this in the heart of the historic east side of Whitby on the North Yorkshire Jurassic Coastline.
