It's been a great few years running Dolphin Cottage but the time has come and we have sold it on to new owners who take charge from today. We wish them all the best and know that Dolphin Cottage will continue to be a place that people are happy to call home while they visit wonderful Whitby 🐬

We all know how difficult parking can be in Whitby, but there is a bit of good news!!! Throughout the whole of December parking in certain car parks in the town will be FREE OF CHARGE!! Those included are Church Street, Cliff Street, Marina Back, Marina Front and St Hilda's Terrace car parks.

We've been busy giving Dolphin Cottage a bit of a refresh with some new furniture, lighting and pictures. We're not stopping there though and have got even more planned to make our cosy cottage even cosier over the next few months 😁

Dolphin Cottage is tucked away in the heart of the old town in between Sandgate and Church Street. This means that we are unable to offer private parking for your stay but this parking guide explains your options for where to leave your car when staying in Whitby.
