The Goathland Hotel is run by Keith and Jean Richardson and their staff, who produce both good food and drink in a friendly atmosphere to which guests constantly return.

Proud to have been custodians all this time. A time that has seen more changes and challenges in the Hospitality industry than ever before. That's all before the total one off of running a building with a film crew round every corner, an experience never to be repeated. Oh and if you follow the Hannah page there just might be a book release one day about the extraordinary family life of The Goathland during our time. Huge thanks to our Family, Friends, Incredible Staff and some outstanding Guests from all over the world!

Sale Pending - apologies to anyone we have missed this week. Turns out it doesn't matter how hard you work at it waiting on Solicitors is out of our control. Last day was Sunday 19th July.

3 years from listing the Lease and so very many interested parties, wanting a slice of Goathland life. Well who could blame them! Very much run on a limited basis the last few years due to health, hence up for Sale. Sorry to those that missed us, but most those 40 years included us working 7 days a week from 8am to 1am!
Boy has this wee old building given us a wild ride!!!

Heartbeat Charity Arm again. Did you know we sell this leaflet at our bar of 18 most commonly asked questions answered? The Cost £1, all of which goes to Charity. I designed this in 2002 and selling 100 in a week realised we needed them professionally printed. This was done at cost by HPE Printers of Pickering they have our huge thanks. Landlord & Lady paid this cost themselves. All Money raised has gone to many local and national Charities all raised by you our guests. I'd hazard a guess that its probably been one of the best Charity fundraisers in the village.
