Whitby Healing Retreat in Whitby North Yorkshire, UK. A short walk to the harbour. A high chair is provided.

Luxury self-catering holiday accommodation Secret Garden Hideaway (sleeps 4) & Church Hall Studio (sleeps 9) incorporating lounge, dining/kitchen facilities, utility, bedrooms, a shower room and bathroom. Located off the top of Flowergate in the town centre, close to shops, leisure centre and Pannett Park. All our holiday homes are comfortably furnished and will provide the perfect base from which to explore Whitby and the surrounding North Yorkshire Countryside. Each property has its own private patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. On-street parking facilities are available outside the property permits provided. Non-smokers only. A selection of children's games and DVD's are provided. Well-behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement in one of our properties.

Summer Hills Whitby, a Little Slice of Peace on Whitby's doorstep.

We often think we need to drive for hours to find tranquillity, but just a few minutes from Whitby's busy town sits a place where the pace of life really slows down, the sounds of traffic are replaced by birdsong, and the biggest decision you will have is whether to take a coatal walk, walk to a cosy local pub, sit in our Secret garden with a good book, or simply watch the sunset next to a campfire with your trusty canine companion and a glass or two of w**e.

We are hidden away behind a stone wall its not commercial or crowded, it feels personal, we are a family run business and cared for by Ursula & her team.

As soon as you arrive you'll feel relaxed & as you disconnect from everyday life will enjoy the peace and quiet of this wonderful location. It's a place that has grown naturally from a family's love of nature and healing.

It feels good to reconnect with nature, and this is certainly the place for it, there are owls, squirrels, weasels, hedgehogs and lots of birds here in our garden.

If sitting still isn't your thing, there is paddleboarding in the harbour, a surfing school, wild swimming, horseriding, golf and amazing walks in and around Whitby.

We don't always need to travel hundreds of miles to find an escape. Sometimes the perfect retreat is only a few hours down the road.

🚨🎃 ATTENTION ALL PUMPKIN PICKERS! 🎃🚨

There are a few fang-tastic changes to pumpkin picking at the farm this year, so please have a read of all the information below! 👻

Each year, pumpkin picking here at the farm has become more and more popular — which is absolutely spook-tacular to see! 🎃❤️

HOWEVER… during our busiest times, our little car park and Ice Cream Parlour can get a bit too packed with pumpkins and people! 😱 This can mean queues, congestion and a little more stress for us — and, more importantly, a less enjoyable experience for you.

So, we’ve carved out a new plan for 2026! 🎃

📅 WEEKENDS & HALF TERM WILL NOW BE BOOKING ONLY

Introducing bookings will allow us to stagger arrivals, reduce queues and keep everything a little more relaxed and safer around the farm.

🎟️ HOW IT’LL WORK…

Our booking page will be launching very soon! From there, you’ll simply:

👉 Pick the date you’d like to visit
👉 Choose your time slot

Tickets will be £12 PER CAR — NOT PER PERSON! 🚗

And don’t worry, we’re not tricking you out of your £12… there are plenty of treats! 👻

Your £12 ticket includes:

🎟️ £2 booking fee
🍦 1 x £5 token to spend in the café
🎃 1 x £5 token to spend on pumpkins

So £10 of your ticket price comes straight back to you to spend during your visit!

🎃 24th–31st October

BUT WHAT ABOUT MIDWEEK PUMPKIN PICKERS? 🎃

If you’re planning to visit us midweek outside of half term, there’s no need to book!

It’ll work exactly the same as previous years:

🚗 Just turn up
🎟️ No entry fee
🎃 Simply pay for the pumpkins you pick!

We know this is a little different from previous years, but pumpkin picking has grown frighteningly popular 👻 and we really hope this change will make visits more relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
