MEET THE CREW

Historically our lifeboat weekend would be a chance for our crew to demonstrate their skills on the lifeboat and throw open the station doors and meet the public whose support we are so grateful for.

When you donate to the RNLI you are helping your local volunteers who live and work alongside you, to do the best possible job they can of saving lives at sea.

With the most up to date training and appropriate kit for the job.

Meet Ally Brisby who has been on the crew for coming up 4 years.

Ally is an open water swimming coach with her own business Sea Swim Yorkshire, she spends a lot of time in the water helping people to build their confidence in open water swimming.

Ally said last night's shout to a fisherman who went overboard was one of her most memorable as it really highlighted how the local boating community and rescue agencies work together to save lives.

Launching our Whitby RNLI Flag Weekend Raffle!!! All proceeds go towards vital kit and training for our volunteer crew to help them save lives at sea.

Tickets cost £5 and you can buy as many as you like, please make sure you comment on the JustGiving page that your donation is for the Raffle and your name.

The raffle will be drawn at 5.30pm on Sunday 8th August
