Tomorrow is the end of an era. After 18 years, 3 months and 4 days we are saying goodbye to The Leeway. We are starting our next adventure together and retiring.

We would like to thank each and every one of our guests for supporting us for the last 18 years. You have been amazing. Because of you we have been able to enjoy living in wonderful Whitby which we love.

Also because of your fantastic reviews we were always number 1 or 2 on TripAdvisor and we won an amazing amount of awards that we are so very proud of.

The Leeway holds very special memories for us as I'm sure she does for lots of you.

We are staying in Whitby so when you are next here visiting, you never know you may see us around town. We will have lots of time to explore now. Well in between the allotment, crafting and long dog walks 😂

Take care all of you and thank you so much for making our time at The Leeway so enjoyable.

Quality Boutique B&B

Here at The Leeway, we offer quality boutique accommodation, for great value. On arrival, we greet you with home made cake and a hot drink, so you can start to relax straight away. The bedrooms are individually decorated to very high standards using designer wall coverings and soft furnishings. The beds have comfy memory foam mattresses, and our bath sheets are made of soft bamboo. We provide luxury toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames and bathrobes for you to relax in whilst flicking through some magazines, or watching the TV. There is a DVD player in every room and free Wi-Fi connection and Ipod docks too. Each room has a Tassimo multi drinks machine and a selection of teas, latte, coffee and hot chocolate. We are in a great location, just a couple of minutes to walk to the harbour, shops, restaurants and everything that wonderful Whitby has to offer.
