For anyone looking for a mid June getaway to Whitby we have just had a cancellation for a week from 14th -21st June. The house sleeps 6 plus an infant with 2 generous doubles and a twin room and we have a travel cot and high chair in the property.

Whatever you decide to do our lovely 19th century terraced house is an ideal base to start and end your day. With 3 generous bedrooms, fast, free wifi, a generous welcome pack to get your holiday started and room for 6 plus an infant all within 5 minutes walk of the town centre.
With free on street parking on a first come basis we have availability throughout 2026 including April & May Goth weekends and July Steampunk weekend( prices may vary according to demand so please check the link for the latest pricing)

A massive thank you to all of our previous guests for your fabulous feedback - we obviously got it right once again and provided our guests with everything they needed to make their stay a perfect one. A massive thank you to our cleaner Jade and her team for ensuring that the house is always spotless.

There are numerous events taking place in Whitby this year including 2 Goth weekends, a second Steampunk weekend and the fabulous Krampus run.
Ammonite House is a lovely 19th century mid terraced property within a 5 minute walk of the town centre. We are a non pet and non smoking property and can accommodate up to 6 adults plus an infant.
There are 3 generous bedrooms - 2 doubles and a twin with all you need to make your stay perfect.
We are booked for both Goth weekends but have availability for the Steampunk Weekend in July along with several other notable events including Whitby Regatta.

If you’ve been considering a holiday in Whitby and are looking for a comfortable house that’s all yours for the duration of your stay with 3 fabulous bedrooms (2 generous doubles and a good size twin) a fantastic welcome pack to start your holiday the right way, tasteful decor and all that you need to make your stay perfect - we even have buckets & spades for the younger family members - then Ammonite House is just what you need for your escape to the coast.
The house is only a 5 minute walk into town and there is free on street parking available on a first come basis.
We are a non smoking and non pet property and can accommodate up to 6 adults and an infant and have a travel cot and high chair - you just need to bring your own bedding for the cot.
We have availability for Whitby Steampunk weekend in July and Regatta weekend and folk week in August.
We’re fully booked for Goth weekend in April and October but we have availability for Krampus weekend the first weekend in December which celebrates its 11th year this year and the parade is definitely worth seeing.
