NORTHERN SOUL WEEKEND IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKING!

We’re giving you the opportunity to still come and enjoy the weekend you had planned and probably looked forward to for the year! Ron Lavender (one of our lovely locals) has talked us into helping him organise a weekend packed with Northern Soul music (within government guidelines) With over 15 DJ’s from 6pm Friday evening to late Sunday evening, the weekend is sure to be one of the best this year so far!

To book a table, please message the page with the following:
- Amount of people (groups of 4 or more will be given priority as we need to fill the venue)
- Time of arrival and required drinking time
- Mobile number/contact details

Please note, whilst we will endeavour to keep your table, if you arrive 15 minutes later than your booking and we have other customers waiting we reserve the right to give your table away. During this weekend, we expect to be so busy that we will not be monitoring social media, so please do not try to amend bookings or message to let us know you will be late.
If you book a table all day and then vacate the table to go for food, then again we cannot guarantee your table will be free when you return. Details of food available within the pub will be offered to you once your table is booked.

Mature minded person (age irrelevant) required to help in the dining room of a busy B & B.

Hours will vary, but as a minimum 8:00 – 10:00 (Sat/Sun/Tue/Wed)

Main duties include - waiting table, making tea/coffee/ toast, clearing tables, filling dishwasher, & relaying tables.

Other hours are also available. We generally pay more than the minimum wage.

This is a seasonal post.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has announced that it will resume steam train services on Saturday 15th May 2021, operating two trains to Whitby every day as well as an intermediate service from Pickering to Grosmont.
