At the St John’s Church on Brunswick street a fantastic art exhibition is being held from now until the 5th of May, showcasing some impeccable paintings of Whitby’s infrastructures, landscapes, and people, produced by Douglas Hill .

Anyone who has a spare 10 minutes when walking around town needs to pop in, have a chat with him, and have a look for themselves as I genuinely can not put into words how amazing each and every painting is.
