Whitby restaurant Fisherman’s Wife has been named Best Coastal Fish and Chips in England at the inaugural English Fish & Chip Awards. 🐟🍟

The award was presented last night in Manchester, celebrating the people and businesses who help make Britain’s fish and chip trade world-class.

Located on Khyber Pass in the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, Fisherman’s Wife is well known for its traditional fish and chips, fresh seafood dishes, and stunning sea views.

The team thanked their hardworking staff, trusted suppliers, and loyal customers for their continued support following the win.

A fantastic achievement for this much-loved Whitby seafood restaurant — and another reason to visit the coast for one of Britain’s most iconic meals. 🥇

❤️We absolutely love heading to the Saltburn Food Festival every year – it’s always such a brilliant day out! 🌊🍴

Amazing street food, live music, and a fantastic atmosphere… it really is one of the highlights of the summer. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re there for the food, the vibes, or just a wander around the stalls.
