Three beautiful large rooms await you at Aldersyde B&B. The beds are made up in white cotton bed linen with cosy duvets and plump pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities, water and a lovely tin of edible treats are as standard in the rooms. Flat screen TV’s, hairdryers and USB sockets are also available. hly laundered bath sheets and hand towels can be found in each of the three full sized private bathrooms. Each room boasts an illuminated de-misting mirror with a shaver point and tasteful toiletries for your use. All rooms have walk-in showers with both a large shower rose and a separate hand held shower attachment. The two Super king rooms have the added luxury of a separate bath, both of which have a further hand held shower attachment. All the guest rooms, the halls, landing and stairs have been fitted with luxuriously soft carpets for your feet to sink into. Breakfast is served in the guest dining room at the front of the property, here the large bay window provides plenty of light and overlooks the planting in the front garden. A comfortable seating area for our guests to relax in can also be found in this room. The property was built in 1893 and has undergone a sympathetic renovation and tasteful decoration using Farrow and Ball and Little Greene paints. Our guests experience a lovely place to stay, from which to explore the beautiful Robin Hoods Bay and beyond. Robin Hoods Bay is in the The North York Moors on the stunning North Yorkshire Coast. This location can cater for all tastes. Beautiful views of land and sea abound. The lower Bay is famous for it’s ancient cobbled streets, higgledy piggledy cottages and tales of smugglers. There are plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat. Just a short journey away is Whitby with its Abbey, Whitby Jet and Dracula connections. Here to there is lots to see and do. So why wait? This is Otis our 6 yr old Russian Blue Cat. He has been missing from Aldersyde on Mt Pleasant South RHB ,since early morning of Wed 16th July. This is unusual for him as he is ruled by his stomach and usually has several meals thought the day and night. Therefore we are now worried about him as he has missed his feeds and medicine.
We would be grateful if those seeing this post could keep an eye out for him. Also check sheds, and garages etc. He has also been know to jump in to open vehicle doors. (Darren the Ringtons man found him in his van on one occasion).

Otis is not wearing a collar (can't keep them on him) but he is chipped to us at Aldersyde.
He did this once before, last July and came back. Hopefully he will do again

Quiet time with the morning sun shining into the hallway, before our guests arrive with us in Robin Hoods Bay.
This is Mavis our little Ginger girl. She does not roam therefore her whole world is our home and the small garden at the rear. So if our guests don't mind a brief visit then it is great for her to meet other people. If however they have any have issues with cats then she along with our other cat Otis can be kept in our private part of the property.

Spring sunrise walk on the beach at Robin Hoods Bay this morning. More or less had the beach to my self. Sunny but chilly. So many photo opportunities. Definitely set me up for the day. You might like to do the same. If a visit appeals, we have three lovely rooms for guests to stay in at Aldersyde Bed and Breakfast.
