There are no restrictions on age or type of vehicle, but if you would like to take part in the free bus services, please advise us as soon as possible as we are working on timetables and allocations. There will also be plenty of space on the harbour front for static vehicles, while all bus owners and their vehicles are invited to join us on our Saturday evening run to the seaside for a free fish supper, and on Sunday for our annual line up at the former Leyland National factory.

Leyland Nationals are always welcome but we like to provide something for all ages with older vehicles on the town tour, and more modern low-floor types on the park and ride service.

Our general theme is looking back 50 years to 1976 so standard NBC and PTE types would fit in well, together with any preserved Titan TNs.

Aqua Splash Swim School Ltd Can parents attending sessions please follow instructions given on parking. Do not use the main guesthouse car park and do not park along the wall outside the guesthouse or either side of the gate. We ask that you park on the top car park or on the road next to it. There have been several near misses this week due to poor parking and the road closure on High Road causing Woodhouse Road to be much busier.

The ticket booking web site is now open and has the correct dates.,,, the tickets are for access to the ship which is set out as a museum replica of a Spanish Galleon. Great to join PCL Heating and Gas Engineers on an installation of a heat pump in St. Bees.

Heat pumps take energy from renewable sources and convert it into energy that provides heating and hot water. As the cost of fossil fuels continues to rise, looking to a more sustainable and money saving solution is becoming more common in households looking to replace their boilers - especially with the £7,500 government grant and VAT exemption!

What we’re lacking is the engineers to do this work, which is why it’s brilliant that we’re training local young people at Lakes College for these green jobs. We’re going to need many more of them in the years ahead as the government rolls out our Warm Homes Plan to upgrade and retrofit millions of homes. I want West Cumbria to get maximum benefit from that rollout.
