Cumbrian Coast, all good destinations for your school trip. The hostel has a wildlife garden and nature trail and great family meals are served here. This property is also available for Exclusive Hire during the winter months

If you fancy a challenge then try the high peaks of Scafell, Scafell Pike, Bowfell and Harter Fell just a stone's throw from the hostel door. If you're not feeling quite so adventurous there are some lovely riverside walks taking in the heritage sites of Hardknott Roman fort and Burnmoor Stone circle. There are also coastal walks within easy reach of the hostel.
