Every journey tells a tale 🚴🏻‍♂️ 🐎 🏃🏿‍♂️

We have worked with Moving Stories to celebrate the everyday journeys that activate our community and build connection in Dumfries and Galloway.

Follow our local cyclist as he rides along The Whithorn Way, connecting with past pilgrimages and stories on route to the Isle of Whithorn.

Our fabulous young pony trekkers enjoy using our routes too!

🌟💛 OUR ANGEL HAS BEEN RECOGNISED! 💛🌟

We are absolutely bursting with pride to share that our wonderful Chairperson, Hazel, has been selected as a finalist for the Social Enterprise Scotland Volunteer Champion Award at this year’s Social Enterprise Awards Scotland! 🎉

Those who know Hazel will understand why we often call her our angel. No matter where she is, what time it is or what else she has going on, Hazel is always there—quietly helping, encouraging, solving problems and keeping us all moving forward.

Hazel, we don’t think you truly realise just how grateful we are for you or how loved and respected you are throughout our community. Your strength, determination, kindness and incredible vision are at the heart of everything we do.

If it wasn’t for you and the many years you have dedicated to All Roads Lead to Whithorn, we wouldn’t have the privilege of working, creating and delivering opportunities within our amazing community spaces today.

You don’t look for recognition or praise—you simply see what needs to be done and get on with it. You believe in people, you believe in Whithorn and you never stop looking for ways for our organisation and community to grow.

From every member of staff and every member of our Board: we are beyond delighted to see your hard work, commitment and love for this community being recognised nationally.

Whatever happens on the night, you are already our champion—and always will be. 💛

Last week was wonderfully busy at the Bunkhouse! 🥰🏡

A huge thank you to everyone who booked and stayed with us. We welcomed guests from London, Stirling, Ayrshire, Glasgow, Paisley and even further afield across Europe! 🌍

Some were walking, some were cycling, some were working, and others were simply enjoying a wee break and exploring our beautiful area. That’s what we love about the Bunkhouse—there’s no one size fits all here. Whatever brings you to Whithorn, you’ll always receive a warm welcome. ❤️

🎉 Who's ready for an unforgettable weekend in Whithorn? 🎉

As part of the amazing Eden Wool Gathering 2026, taking place across Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August, we're delighted to be hosting a fantastic Traditional Scottish Ceilidh at The New Town Hall! 🌼🎻

Come along for an evening filled with live Scottish music, dancing, laughter and delicious haggis, neeps & tatties (with a vegetarian option available too!). Whether you're a seasoned ceilidh dancer or giving it a go for the very first time, everyone is welcome!

💛 Best of all, every penny raised will support the wonderful Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre, helping them continue the incredible work they do.
