We have a lot of species of birds here but rarely do we see a seagull. Apparently when the weather’s bad at sea they come inland - they obviously didn’t expect to encounter our summer storm!

It’s coming up to shearing time for the sheep but we still have a few fleeces from last year that we didn’t get around to using. It has a few good uses around the garden such as slow release nitrogen source in the bottom of pots to mulching material and slug/snail protection. Here we’ve used them to give our hanging baskets a unique look 💕
