Sea Sunset Cottage is directly on the seawall and promenade with glorious 180 degree views of the sea and beach. The cottage faces due west and so the sun sets directly in front of you as you relax on the balcony. y restaurant on the main beach at Whitstable. There is a set of steps right by the front door that gives access to the beach. The property has 2 bedrooms downstairs, one a King bed with plenty of wardrobe space, the second is a smaller twin room with a wardrobe. There is also a full family bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet downstairs as well. Upstairs is a large open plan living area with a connecting door to a good size kitchen. Large french doors open out off the living room to a balcony which faces the sea. There is also a small patio area in front of the house with sea views. The property also has a small garage that will take a small/medium car so you won't need to find a parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer so you can stay comfortably.

We just had a cancellation for a long stay booking due to serious illness. I have refunded them and now have some dates available for booking.

Whitstable is my hometown and just as lovely in winter - yes it can be bracing if wind is off the sea but there are no crowds and the town and restaurants are open.

So as a special offer every week (Fri-Fri) or weekend between 27th October and 23rd February (apart from Xmas) is reduced:

Pricing Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom £ 895 for weekend and £1395 for week.
Pricing Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms £ 1295 for weekend and £1795 for week.

To book go to website www.seasunsetcottage.com and pay the normal deposit only and I will adjust the final balance pricing.

The calendar for next Summer has also just been opened and if you select Past Guest you receive a discount on booking the whole house.

Finally if you wanted more space (sleeps 8/9) or have pets, my other Whitstable property at www.oystershellwhitstable.com is also lovely and very suitable for inter-generational families as bedrooms on ground and 1st floor and no steps, level showers etc

Our Story

Sea Sunset Cottage is directly on the seawall and promenade with glorious 180 degree views of the sea and beach. The cottage faces due west and so the sun sets directly in front of you as you relax on the large balcony. You could not be closer to the beach and at night you will sleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping on the beach. The Property is situated between the Neptune Pub and the Oyster Company restaurant on the main beach at Whitstable. There is a set of steps right by the front door that gives direct access to the beach. The property has 3 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. On the ground floor there is one King bedroom and another double room all with seaviews and with direct access to a sunny patio. On the second floor is a large master suite with a superking bed and a juliet balcony ovelooking the sea. There is also a separate study/TV room with a single sofabed. The first floor is a large open plan living area with a good size kitchen. Large patio doors open out off the living room to a balcony which faces the sea with plenty of room for sunbathing. There is also a small patio area in front of the house with sea views. The property has private parking for one car so you won't need to find a parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, wine fridge, and a downstairs utility room with washing machine and dryer so you can stay comfortably.

The maximum occupancy will be 6 people across 3/4 bedrooms and as the ground floor rooms are located with easy access to the water no children under 9 are allowed. Sorry no pets.
