🌟 ITV Interest in Our Gentle Giant – Nige’s Incredible Painathon Journey 🌟

Yesterday morning I received a lovely message from Paul Crone, who has taken a real interest in our very own Nige – the Gentle Giant.

Nige is currently taking on his incredible Painathon challenge to raise funds for Daffodils Dreams C.I.C. and the children and families we support across the Wigan borough. 💛

His determination, strength and big heart have inspired so many people already, and it’s wonderful to see his efforts being recognised beyond our local community.

The really exciting news is that Paul and the ITV crew will be meeting Nige today at Crook Village to hear more about his challenge and the difference it will make to the people we support.

Anyone who knows Nige will know he is the most humble man you could meet. He never seeks the spotlight, but his actions speak volumes. This challenge is tough, but if anyone has the resilience and heart to push through it, it’s our Gentle Giant.

Moments like this remind us just how powerful community spirit can be — when people come together with kindness, determination and a shared purpose.

Nige, we are all incredibly proud of you.
You are doing something truly special for others. 👏
