Bookings are now open for our Heritage Open Days guided walks, with 1-hour and 3-hour options available for exploring the archaeology of Sheringham Park.

The Tumuli to Trenches walk is the longer of the two guided walks. Assistant Ranger Rupert Eris will show you the historic wood banks and tumuli, as well as taking in the saw mill. Rupert will discuss the wartime defence landscape, and you will have the opportunity to explore one of the pillboxes.

Why do I always manage to leave my phone or camera upstairs when I need it? The Red Arrows just flew over on their way back to Waddington from the Cromer Carnival Display. With me in the garden and the phone in house, let alone upstairs, there was no way I was going to get the shot! 😖
