We are open for your 2025 bookings! Our cottage has old world charm, sleeps 5 and our pricepoint is an amazing £120 per night. Just north of the Lake District at Keswick (25 mins by car). Perfect for walkers, cyclists, families and all of an outdoor disposition!

'The Stables', brand new to the market as a holiday home, opens for minimum 3 night rental (except for School Holidays when its weekly rental) from 17th April. This spacious cottage has literally just been refurbished and sleeps 5 adults in 3 bedrooms. See pics for further living space detail. Outdoor Sun Terrace with BBQ. April pricing is £350 for 3 nights and £750 per week. Prices rise to £1000 per week for July/Aug. Availablity is currently very good as we are brand new to the market.

We are pet friendly to a max of 2 dogs which must be kept downstairs. No smoking inside.

We are situated on a redeveloped Farm Steading, just over a mile from the nearest small town, Wigton which has a few pubs and restaurants. The small city of Carlisle is 11 miles away. Carlisle has a host of restaurants, pubs and wine bars for every taste. Carlisle has a Castle and historic city walls. The remains of Hadrians Wall run through Carlisle and there are a number of Wall viewing points in the vicinity including the visitor centre at Birdoswald. Fifteen minutes west of us is the pretty town of Cockermouth, and if you head south, then within 20 minutes you are into the Northern Lakes at Bassenthwaite, with Skiddaw, Keswick and Derwent Water 10 minutes further on.

Brand new to the holiday rental market, 'The charming and newly refurbished Stables' will be available for weekly rental from Saturday 17th April, or for a special introductory offer of £450 for 5 days from 12th-16th April. Sleeps 5 adults.

The Cottage is 15 miles north of the Lake District, and is situated 1 mile from Wigton, and a 20 minute drive from Historic Carlisle and Hadrians Wall. Keswick in the Lakes is only 30 minutes away.

The accommodation comprises, 2 reception rooms, a kitchen dining area, an ensuite master bedroom, a further double and a single bedroom, the main bathroom and a utility room and WC downstairs. Outside there is a sun patio with BBQ.
Rentals will be from Saturday 3pm to 10am the following Saturday. Pricing will be £750 per week for April and £800 for May except for the Bank Holiday weeks commencing 1st May and 29th May which will be £900. From 5th June will be £850 and from 3rd July through August, £1000 per week.

No smoking indoors.
