The Larches is open from March 01st to October 31st. Awarded AA Four Pennant and Solway Greens Award Gold. The Larches is situated on the periphery of the Lake District National Park looking south of Skiddaw, Binsey and the North West Fells. It is an ideal retreat for adults for either a long weekend or longer stays. For those wishing to stay for a week or more have the advantage of not only the L

akes but also the Solway Coast, Scottish Borders and Hadrians Wall. The Larches is abundance with wildlife from our shy Red Squirrels, Woodpeckers, Buzzards and numerous other birds. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control. The toilet block houses suites of beautifully tiled rooms each complete with shower, toilet and vanity unit. A disabled unisex unit is also available with plenty of space for a wheel chair. Fully equipped Laundry with washer, dryer, iron and dish washing facilities. There are grass and hard standing pitches available for touring caravan's, motorhomes and tent's. With mains water connection, electric hook up and waste water. For those who wish to stay longer you can enquire about our seasonal pitches or treat yourselves to a super new and fully furnished Holiday Home complete with central heating and stunning balcony views over the surrounding countryside and mountain range.
