We had a fantastic Bank Holiday week with our campers. It was lovely to see some new faces and regulars too. We had our usual mix of activities onsite for the children. Our grandchildren were also here to visit and our eldest designed and made activity sticks which the children enjoyed using.

Help please!

Edit: unfortunately this has had to be cancelled for today. I have only just found out, sorry for the short notice. If you are able to help next Thursday instead, that would be great!

ITV are visiting the Woolly Hub today 5-7pm to interview us to find out about what we do. If you have donated wool, made squares/blanket or helped to stitch them together it would be wonderful if you could join us. We would also be incredibly grateful to hear from people that know someone who has received a blanket. It would be fantastic if they could learn about all aspects of the Hub. If you are able to help you will need to be here from 5pm and it is live on ITV at 6pm. Please message if you would like more information.

Isn't it lovely when local businesses support each other. We have been given money off vouchers for our campers for Play2Day Wisbech , The Anchor in Wimblington and Cobblestone 's in March. Thank you also to Ali from The Bearded Etcher who has made hearts for those who have contributed to our Woolly hub.

If you're looking for a campsite with a family feel, come and stay with us. We're run by a family team (David, Peter and Kathleen) and take great pride in what we do. Here's our youngest grandson having a great time testing all the toys.

The campsite is waking up and it looks beautiful! 🌼 🌸

Calling all knitters and crocheters - exciting news! We have been given funds to buy wool for our charity knits, and for this year we are making blankets for Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Many of these will be used for patients having chemotherapy as this can cause extra sensitivity to the cold. Part of the funding is earmarked for reaching people that may be isolated or unable to get out, so I can drop off wool within the PE15 area. We're asking for 8 inch squares or you can make a complete blanket. If you would like to help or for more information please get in touch - 01354 740354. Kathleen
