It is surrounded by 720 acres of farmland and was used as set in Mr Holmes and The Crown on Netflix - Season 3.

We’ve had so many messages about the Wickham Manor feature on Kate Humble’s programme “Coastal Britain” which was on last night. We were lucky enough to meet Kate a few years back when she visited us at Charles Palmer Vineyards to chat about our wines and set up.
For those of you who missed it, you can still catch the episode on My5 and get a glimpse into the rich history and beautiful coastline we’re proud to call home.

Our Pinot Noir straight out of the harvester. We can now get 7 tonnes on a trailer compared with 1 tonne on the little picking trailers that we used to go in between the rows with when hand picking, and there is less soil compaction because of far less movements of the tractors and trailers. The bigger trailer stays on the edge of the vineyard by the road so it doesn’t drive near the vines.
