Moreland's Copse camping offers a camping experience like no other, it is a quiet, rural site with excellent transport links and location. Situated near Fishers Pond, the ancient woodland has been owned by the PPEDS charity since 1994. It was sculpted and the pathway put in around 7 years ago for use by the charity for the children and families it supports, as well as by the riding school 'Hampshi
re Riding Therapy Centre' for their less able clients to have a safe pathway through the canopy. Since the closure of the riding school, the woods and its pathways and garden were a little overgrown and overtaken by nature but still a safe haven for people of all ages and backgrounds and for the abundant wildlife that live locally. The Campsite reclaimed the woods at the beginning of August due in large part to the efforts of the fabulous and hardworking volunteers. Moreland's Copse was then able to open it's doors, providing a beautiful site for Camping, as well as 2 wonderful Shepherds Huts to hire and most recently the Pig Hut and boutique outdoor kitchen. Facilities currently include Toilets and running water with plans to build more as we progress.
