Sunday Roasts are Back 🍗🥕🍽️

After a short break, we're delighted to be serving our Sunday roasts once again. From Sunday August 23rd you'll find our roasts back on the menu.

There are some traditions that never go out of fashion, and a proper Sunday roast is one of them. Whether you're catching up with family after a morning walk, gathering friends around the table or simply ending the week with great food, Sunday lunch is about taking time to slow down and enjoy good company.

Expect quality British meats, seasonal vegetables, crisp roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire puddings and rich gravy from scratch, all cooked with the care and attention you'd expect from our kitchen.

Served every Sunday in the heart of the Itchen Valley.

As always we recommend booking so if you'd like to join us next weekend and beyond we'd recommend booking in advance.

⛔️ We are closed until 5pm today!! ⛔️

Please bear with us until 5pm when we will open the bar, and the kitchen from 6pm!

There is always ongoing general maintenance, 🔨 planned preventative maintenance 👷 and scheduled yearly and 6 monthly visits such as fire alarms, 🚨 gas safety checks 🔥 , pest control visits and more.

The fire alarm might go off a few times too !

The planets have aligned as such that we have managed to get most of it organised to be done all in one day to avoid disruptions in general ! 🥳

It does however mean the car park is a bit chaotic already with pipes, hoses and cables so we have made the decision to wait until they are finished to open the doors

🏏 MCC vs Easton & Martyr Worthy Cricket Club 🏏

This Sunday, our local cricket club welcomes the MCC for one of the highlights of the season, as they celebrate 80 years of Easton & Martyr Worthy Cricket Club.

It promises to be a fantastic day of village cricket, with the match getting underway at 11:00am.

🍔 BBQ at lunchtime�🍺 Bar open throughout the day�🏏 Great cricket in a beautiful setting

As proud sponsors of the club, we would encourage as many of you a possible to head down, enjoy a burger and a drink, and cheer the lads on.

For anyone who wants some shelter from the sun or a pint here in the pub, we will also be streaming the game live all day!

We have a very busy few days lined up in the village!

✔️Tonight is the Easton & Martyr Worthy Cricket Club Community Social Evening ... why not pop over to the Cricket Club and enjoy a BBQ, beers and other activities from 6pm!

✔️FRIDAY (tomorrow) is the Easton Crickets 6's all day event starting from 10am with a bar and hog roast! 🏏🍻🐷

We will also be showing this on the televisions in the pub!!📺🎬

Once the Cricket 6's day wraps up head on over to the Cricketers to finish your celebrations, grab some dinner and catch up with friends!

✔️SATURDAY we have SKY SPORTs in the pub showing your favourites inducing the F1 Qualifying and the Tour de France.

✔️SUNDAY we will be showing the Hungarian Grand Prix 🏎🏁

Plenty of reasons to get out and about and plenty of reasons to visit your favourite local!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 It's match day!

A huge evening lies ahead as England take on Argentina for a place in the World Cup Final.

Before kick-off, don't forget it's Steak Night. If you're joining us this evening, we'd really encourage you to book a table and, where possible, enjoy dinner before the football starts. It means everyone can relax, enjoy their meal and be settled in time for kick-off, while helping our kitchen keep everything running smoothly.

As always, we'll do our very best to look after everyone throughout the evening, and we really appreciate your support.

Here's hoping for a famous England performance... 🤞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
