Afternoon Hursley Community
We have our first summer ball tomorrow at The King’s Head and we have four spaces left. Is there a Cinderella out there?
We would like to offer these last four spaces to you, all you have to do is send me a private message with a bid for them and we will donate the money to the John Keble Primary School summer fete fund.
The evening consists of champagne and hors d’houvres on arrival with live music followed by a 3 course dinner and then a disco until midnight (poster attached)
Good luck with your bid and we will telephone the lucky winner.
Be here for 6.30pm start in the courtyard (weather dependent)

Join us on Saturday 6th June from 8pm for our Summer Ball — with live courtyard music, a three-course dinner, disco to finish, plus a glass of fizz and canapés on arrival.

Dress code: tuxedos, summer frocks and your finest evening style.

Looking for something a little different for a birthday, work social, family get-together or private celebration?

Our skittle alley can be booked for two hours of private use, with options to keep things simple or make a full evening of it.

Choose from:

Option 1
Private skittle alley hire for two hours — £50

Option 2
Private skittle alley hire for two hours with a personal bar/waiting person — £100

Option 3
Private skittle alley hire for two hours, with additional food options available. Choose two courses or more from nibbles, mains and petit fours.
Minimum 20 people

Option 4
Private skittle alley hire with a personal bar/waiting person, welcome drink, nibbles while you play, main course and petit fours — £35pp
Minimum 20 people

Food options include honey and mustard glazed chipolatas, breaded brie with cranberry chutney, onion bhaji and raita, maple and sage sausage rolls, fish and chips in a cone, sliders, seasonal pies, hoisin tofu bao buns and sweet or savoury petit fours.

Welcome drinks include Mimosa, Pimm’s, Aperol Spritz or bottled beers in a bucket.

Other food and drink options can also be arranged — just speak to the team and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.

Choose from three beautiful roasts this Father’s Day:

🥩 Oxfordshire medium rare sirloin of beef with peppercorn gravy
🐖 Fennel and garlic loin of pork with roasted apple sauce and jus gras
🍖 Slow roasted saddle of lamb with lemon and rosemary stuffing and port jus

All served with duck fat roast potatoes, bread sauce, seasonal vegetables, Old Wi******er cauliflower cheese and minted pea purée.

🌱 There’s also a vegetarian candied nut wellington available — and a FREE pint for all the dads 🍺

A proper Father’s Day feast, best enjoyed around the table with family.
