Hello Everyone,

I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, I'm Steve, your new parks manager for Hill of Oaks, Newby Bridge and Buck Yeats holiday home parks. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge of running 5 star parks having been in this incredible industry for over 20 years. I'm not a local chap, My home is on the Shropshire Welsh border so any hints and tips about this beautiful area would be warmly welcomed.
I am a happily married man to Tanya with 2 grown up children, Olivia & Harvey and a 1 year old Grand daughter Sapphire.
I am a very approachable chap and my door is always open. If you see me wandering about please wave & say hello.
Maybe we can enjoy a drink (or two) at "Hoo Fest" this Saturday.

We have been informed that there are roadworks scheduled to commence on Friday 11th July for 3 days, which may impact your ability to drive straight to Hill of Oaks Park for your stay this weekend.

The road closure is detailed as 'A592, Staveley-In-Cartmel from a point approx. 280 metres north east of its junction with Fell Foot Brow, extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approx. 3 km.'

We have two gates at Hill of Oaks Park, and we use a one-way system. One gate is usually dedicated to entering the park, and the other is for exiting. For the duration of the works, the ‘exit’ gate will be available for you to enter the park.
