The Autumn Aperol Spritz brings together cinnamon-infused Aperol, prosecco and ginger ale, with all the warmth and colour of the season in one glass.

Best enjoyed after a long soak, with the lake turning gold outside.

Three hours in the The Spa at Low Wood Bay, followed by mulled w**e, a mince pie and a relaxed wreath-making workshop with everything provided by Stem and Petal Flowers. You leave with your own handmade wreath for the front door for the festive season.

Monday 30th November, Friday 4th December and Thursday 10th December are almost sold out. Tuesday 8th December still has space, but you'll need to be quick!

Two nights of fireworks over Windermere this November 🎆
 
Thursday 5th November is Bonfire Night at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa. There’ll be a floating bonfire on the lake, fire pits on the lawns and fireworks from 7.30pm.

Last chance to enter our competition with Scabal.

When Scabal was looking for a setting for its Autumn Winter 2026 campaign, it came to the shores of Lake Windermere. The collection was shot here at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, drawing on the changing Lakeland landscape and the heritage both of us care about.

Cumbrian food historian John Crouch has recreated The Bridge House, Ambleside, one of the Lake District's most iconic landmarks, entirely in gingerbread.

It's a taste of what's coming to The Gingerbread House Festival, hosted by Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa in partnership with the iconic Grasmere Gingerbread, running from Friday 20th November to Sunday 22nd November.

The festival is FREE to attend across all three days. Building and entering your own Gingerbread House costs £20, with £10,000 worth of prizes up for grabs and half of every entry fee going to Shelter.
