We are reopening tomorrow and we cannot wait to see customers, old and new, back at Windermere Park Guest House.

Cumbria is currently in Tier 2, meaning overnight stays in your household or support bubble are permitted. As per the guidelines, anyone wishing to visit Windermere Park should follow the travel advice specific to their tier and whilst visiting the guest house you will be asked to follow Tier 2 guidance.

In light of the latest government advice, we are closing temporarily from Thursday 5th November.

The Lake District is a beautiful place to visit, but the safety of our guests and staff is so important.

The gorgeous mountains and lakes will be here to explore after this passes, and we look forward to welcoming you back in December.

Miller Ground, a fantastic location to walk along the lake, just a 15 minute walk from Windermere Park.

For stunning views from up high across Windermere Lake from Queen Adelaides Hill, or for the chance to go right to the shore yourself, we recommend visiting Miller Ground.

Located just down the road, Miller Ground is perfect for families, or for those just wanting to see some beautiful landscapes. From the shore you can let your dogs play in the lake, and you can even take a dip if you want to brave the cold Autumn water!

The second picture was taken from the top of Queen Adelaides Hill, which you can climb from Miller Ground. On the lake you can see Windermere Lake Cruises and in the far distance between the trees you can see Wray Castle National Trust.
