"Wife's birthday weekend away
A Fantastic B&B, in a lovely quiet area. 5/10 mins walk from Bowness and Windermere.
Room was beautiful, spacious, clean, with a fantastic comfy bed. You can have continental breakfast delivered to your room, or have a cooked breakfast at the owners cafe Bar in Bowness. Which we opted to do. Was nice to walk down and feel fresh and ready when you Sat down to enjoy the best breakfast we've ever had. Would highly recommend. The house is in lovely gardens. We had a fantastic stay, and can't wait to come again."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week.The room was excellent,also the en suite shower was great.The walk down the road to our breakfast was perfect for starting our day and made our couple of days something to remember."

"The location was perfect, easily accessible, 5 mins walk to Windereme lake and city centre. The entire property including room and bathroom was EXTREMELY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. The breakfast at Montie’s was FABULOUS. Perfect HOST, she was extremely kind, helpful and easy going. Quiet house and extremely comfortable bed. Would highly reccomend this property!!!

"Brilliant B&B
Friendly greeting at the door and shown to the room which was clean and lovely. Bed was insanely comfortable (I wanted to find out where the mattress was from!) and shower was very powerful. View from the room was beautiful."

"The house is in a lovely area, only a few minutes drive from Lake Windermere itself so perfect location. The room we stayed in was lovely - nice a big, with a gorgeous garden view and en-suite. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast at Monties was brilliant value. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property."
