The team at YHA Windermere are taking on the monumental challenge of trying to climb all 214 Wainwright's within the month of August.

We'd be very grateful for any donations, we have monopoly style cards for every fell to help visualise our progress in hostel, individual fells can be sponsored for just £2.14.

Any donations can be made in hostel or on the just giving link below. All proceeds will be going to YHA's Breaks programme, offering life changing residential experiences to young people who are in the most need. Please dig deep, no donation is too small.

Sunday is the fifth year of our fell race up Baystones and Wansfell. Weather looks wonderful, it's a great runnable route and always brings in a lovely bunch of people into the hostel. Starting at 1pm. Pre entry is still open if you fancy giving it a go. Spectators welcome. They'll be loads of tea and cake. All profits doing to YHA's breaks programme.
