What a great turnout for our Annual Funday & St Luke’s Hospice Day, held in memory of our lovely Sue Summersgill. ❤️

Even the rain didn’t spoil the day! ☔️ Barnton Silver Brass Band were fabulous, as were Mutt & Jeff, who had everyone up dancing! 💃🕺

Everyone enjoyed having their faces painted too! 🎨😊

A big thank you to the dynamic duo Paul & Tracy for keeping the BBQ flowing all day, and to the bar staff for keeping the drinks flowing! 🍔🍻

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Let’s Farm for joining us at Lakeside Caravan Park and taking on the very difficult task of judging our Best Garden Competition! 🌼🌿

The standard of entries was fantastic, and we are incredibly proud of all our owners who took part. The time, care and creativity that went into each garden and plot was clear to see, resulting in so many beautiful spaces for everyone across the park to enjoy.

Congratulations to our winner, Lee, and to Martin, who finished a close second🥳

Thank you again to Let’s Farm for judging the competition with such care and enthusiasm, and to every owner who entered and helped make the competition such a success. Your gardens are a real credit to you and to the wider Lakeside community!💙🐝

Hot weather can be dangerous for our four-legged family members 🐾☀️

⚠️ Caravans can get hot very quickly, just like a car, so please ensure you never leave your dog in a caravan or vehicle in hot weather.

As temperatures rise, it's important to take a few extra precautions to keep your dog safe, comfortable and cool. Dogs can overheat very quickly!

If you're visiting or staying with us, please remember to:
💧 Keep plenty of fresh, cool water available at all times
🌳 Make sure they always have access to shade
🚶 Walk them early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler
❄️ Help them cool down with paddling pools, damp towels or frozen toys

Watch out for the signs of heatstroke and if you're concerned, contact a vet immediately.
