What is the difference between pakoras and bhajis?
The difference lies in the spices and herbs used in the batter, which can vary by region. For example, Onion Bhaji batter in southern India can contain garlic and curry leaves, whereas pakoras in north India typically have carom seeds (ajwain). So try the different variations and pick your favorite. We do Vegatable Pakora and Chicken. So take your pick because we make them not buy them....

A great opportunity, for a breakfast chef to join this quality inn with bedrooms

The Head Chef is looking for somebody who has a stable background and who has worked as a breakfast chef in a food pub, 3 or 4* hotel or cafe environment. You must have worked in a food establishment.

As Breakfast chef you will be expected to set a high standard in producing a quality breakfast for all guests. Only the best local produce is used to produce all options at the breakfast table.

As breakfast chef you will need to be organized and work to high standards. All breakfasts are served plated and doing a maximum of 25 covers a day. You will also be involved in developing the breakfast concept as the head chef is always looking to improve the guest’s food experience.

Wow 😮 what can I say.

Last night was fantastic.
To everyone that came along, thank you , your support means so much to us here at the Longs Hotel and Inn, Woburn.

To Joe Scripps, yet again you smashed it mate !!
Big thanks to you and your talents for entertaining about half of Woburn !!

Honestly all I can say is that a great night was had by all !

Stay tuned for an update on when Joe will next be here rocking it for our entertainment!

The idea of these music nights is to entertain the villagers and regulars who put their hard earned money into our business on a daily basis and just show we appreciate you as much as you enjoy drinking with us.

That’s it really, just wanted to say thank you to all who made the effort to come and make it the success it was.
And thanks to you lot who stayed behind to help clear up during and after the event.

Teamwork really does make the dream work 😉
