There seem to be more Nightingales about this year than usual. Or is it just us?

Either way, if a walk along The Deben leaves you feeling a touch thirsty, do pop in for a pint of Nightingale. First brewed during Covid in recognition of the NHS, it has been our most popular ale ever since.

Now that’s something to sing about. 🍺

Today is World Cocktail Day, and we have created something special to celebrate.

Introducing our Suffolk Rhubarb Spritz, a fresh, locally inspired cocktail made with homemade rhubarb syrup using rhubarb from our allotment, paired with Burnt House sparkling wine.

World Cocktail Day marks the anniversary of the first recorded definition of the word “cocktail,” which appeared in print in 1806.

Light, refreshing, and perfect for a sunny afternoon or early evening drink, this is a lovely way to celebrate the occasion.
