✨MORE EXCITING NEWS!✨ New outdoor bathing experiences at Secret Meadows 🤩 🙌

We’ve been busy enhancing the facilities in time for re-opening later this month. Alongside adding electricity to all accommodation, new outdoor bathing options include a private mini hot tub at one of the safari tents (sleeps 6) and an outdoor bath at Gypsy’s Rest (sleeps 4). There is still a large private hot tub at another of the safari tents.

🌳 Each hot tub is tucked away next to its tent in a tranquil wooded space.

🌳 The private outdoor wood-fired bath tub at Gypsy’s Rest is also in a woodland glade next to the accommodation. The luxurious 2-person bath tub is inspired by traditional Japanese-style soaking tubs.

We had originally planned to install a communal hot tub for short hire slots but due to new shared hot tub regulations we had to have a rethink! We hope you’ll agree that it’s more special to have your own private bathing experience to enjoy throughout your stay. We’ll be sharing photos of the new tubs later in the Spring 👀.

These new additions have been achieved thanks to funding from the Rural England Prosperity Fund and UK Shared Prosperity Fund via HM Government.

✨ Exciting news! ✨ ALL accommodation at Secret Meadows will include electricity from the start of this year’s glamping season! 🤩 We’ve chosen lovely warm lighting throughout (including plenty of fairy lights, lantern lights and a chandelier) so don’t worry, the glamping ambience won’t be affected! There will also be a couple of USB charging points at each accommodation and the fridges will be inside, changing from gas to electric. If you prefer the off-grid experience, you can still opt for this as the power for the lights, usb charging points and fridge can be switched off and you make use of oil lanterns for lighting and the cool box for chilled food. The Pantry will still have charging points too 👍🏻

Taking time out in the woods at Secret Meadows is something we love to do during these quiet winter months, and meeting round the fire pit 🔥, making plans for the season ahead.

Every glamping accommodation here has its own kadai fire bowl so everyone who stays can enjoy this slowed down, quality time round the fire with family and friends 🔥.

It’s always exciting when we get snow in Suffolk as we don’t see it every year and it doesn’t tend to last very long! We got to make the most of the short-lived snow on the last day of the school holidays out on the nature reserve ☃️ ❄️

Less than three months to go until Secret Meadows re-opens for another season of extra special glamping holidays 🤩. We’re going to be very busy in the meantime with a few new features to prepare (updates to follow soon!) before the Easter holidays….

✨ 📷 We wanted to share some of our favourite guest photos taken here this year. Our favourite part of running Secret Meadows is knowing that many happy memories are made here 😊. We feel so honoured to share this special place with guests from across the UK and abroad.

A BIG thank you to those of you who have stayed here and a special thank you to those who have been here more than once, some of you as many as 12 times! 🙌

🤩 Bookings for 2026 are now open at our website! We’ve kept prices the same and we’ll be offering all the usual extras such as private hen coop hire, goat walking, whittling workshops, breakfast hampers and celebration hampers. ✨ There will be a few new features too (details coming soon…)

🤩 Our Two Storey Tent (sleeps 8) and Luxury Lodge Tent with private hot tub (sleeps 6) are usually the first tents to get booked at peak times so we recommend checking availability soon!
