It is thought that the pub was built by a Thomas Killingwort

h in 1637 and it was bought by Jim & Claire Alexander at the end of 2012 and restored it to it's former glory - have a look in our photo albums to see how the pub has developed! Join us for some delicious food created by our award winning chefs, served day and night, and lovingly created with only the finest local ingredients. We also hold a monthly food night dedicated to delicious regional cuisine and lip-smacking foodie genres. We also have our Sunday Social events featuring brainteasing quizzes, acoustic sets, alternative DJ nights and comedy - all free!
