Today, we sadly say a fond farewell to Carol Powell. ❤️

Carol was so much more than a regular customer at The Salwey Arms. She was a familiar and much-loved face, and it was always a pleasure to see her joining us for lunch. Her warmth, kindness and wonderful presence made an impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

It has been a privilege to have shared so many lovely moments with her at The Salwey, and we will remember her fondly.

Our thoughts are with Carol’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved her at this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Carol. You will be very much missed. 🕊️❤️
