There's no denying the beaches in Woolacombe are mighty fine but the walks are pretty spectacular too. This is the route from Woolacombe to Mortehoe Point. You can take the trail to the village pubs or have a cream tea in the quaint Town Farmhouse Tea Room. If you're game to go further, then continue round to Bull Point Lighthouse or Lee Bay.

Sunset at Barricane Beach. Grab a picnic blanket, curry from the hut (between 5-7pm, £10-20 per person, cash payment) and meet you there. Swimming is optional. 😃

We can confirm this little gem is well worth the 1 hour drive from Woolacombe. The charmingly pretty village of Clovelly. By the time you've navigated the cobbled streets down to the harbour, you'll be salivating for fresh seafood & cider, topped off with a cream tea. And what a view to enjoy!
