In just under 2 weeks, we'll be welcoming an extraordinary exhibition to Belton's gardens 🦋

Organised by the charity Evelyn's Butterfly Effect, The Garden of Hope will open on Sunday 15 March and run until Saturday 18 April. This powerful installation will feature 98 handpainted steel butterflies, each representing a life lost to su***de in Lincolnshire.

Created by local schools and community groups, the artwork encourages open conversations around mental health, su***de awareness, and - above all - hope.

We're really looking forward to being the first site to host this emotive display and can't wait to share it with you.

Step into Welbeck's past on a walk along the Robin Hood Way to South Tunnel Lodge.
The Victorian Duke of Portland is famous for being the ‘burrowing duke.’ The 5th Duke spent his time and wealth at Welbeck, commissioning an impressive range of buildings that included a maze of underground tunnels. His picturesque lodges and stables are scattered across the local landscape. They were designed to reference his ancestor’s style at Bolsover Castle.
