After 50 years, the hotel has now been sold and ceased trading at the weekend. Wishing all of our guests all the very best for the future and thank you for choosing us for a stay, wedding, anniversary or party.

We are unsure of the new owners plans for the business but we do know that functions certainly do not feature in their vision.

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven head chef working full time in our 30 bedroom hotel kitchen. Tasks will include food preparation, cooking breakfast/ dinner, upkeep of the kitchen & general kitchen duties working as a team. The hotel caters for all events including weddings, wakes, birthday parties & dinner dances.

The successful applicant must be friendly, well presented, professional and reliable. They must be confident with answering the telephones and responding to emails, dealing with customer enquires, be able to deliver efficient customer service and have knowledge with Microsoft, additional training will be given with HOP reservation systems, similar experience would be preferred but not necessary.

With this position you will be expected to work either 7:30am-3:30pm or 3:15pm-11pm 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

🤍 We are all feeling so ecstatic here at The Windsor House Hotel! It’s such a great feeling knowing that weddings will be taking place again!

We have received so many inquiries since Boris made his announcement last week. It’s nice to know that everyone’s confidence is growing and people can look forward to the future once again!

We are lucky enough to have a spacious venue in which we can accommodate everyone safely.

We cant wait to see you all back regular guests and new faces. Its been a long year but we cant wait to open our doors more than ever, bring on the summer 🥂

Feels so great to know as of the 17th of May 2021 our doors will be back open and we will be able to do what we love once more.

We know the date is only an estimate currently and will be inline with the latest government guidelines but it has given us a great sense of hope once more.
