Multi-award winning Plassey is set in 247 acres of magnificent park and woodland in the beautiful Dee Valley, near to the picturesque villages of Overton and Bangor-On-Dee. Privately owned and managed for over 60 years, the Brookshaw family have developed the former dairy farm's land and buildings into the Holiday Park, Retail Village & Golf Course. Its premier amenities include a Touring Caravan

Park with its own indoor heated swimming pool, children's adventure playground, state-of-the-art amenity building, and a number of deluxe and premier pitches equipped with full services. The glamping accommodation includes 10 Studio Lodges and 4 Safari Tents, all with underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchens and sumptuous bathrooms, and not forgetting each with their own private 6 person Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. In addition to the Holiday Park, Plassey also houses a thriving Retail Village, with businesses ranging from boutiques, hand-made crafts, and a hair & beauty studio, to a traditional blacksmith and computer suppliers. The former stable block is now home to a Coffee Shop and we even have a Welsh independent Micro Brewery, The Plassey Brewery. Visitors to the Retail Village are also most welcome to bring the family for a gentle stroll along the 2 miles of Nature trail walks or have a play on the Welsh Castle children's adventure playground. For keen golfers, we have a splendid 9-hole Golf Course (4,961 yard, Par 66) which is set in beautiful undulating parkland of The Plassey. Affiliated to both the Denbighshire and Welsh Golfing Unions, it offers a challenging set of holes for all to enjoy with a comfortable golf clubhouse to relax in after your game. Farewell Mike! 🍀⛳

Last week we said goodbye to our General Maintenance Manager, Mike, as he and his family set off for a new adventure in Ireland 🇮🇪

Since joining The Plassey in April 2021, Mike became a valued member of the team. From keeping everything running smoothly to his famous “Busy, Busy, Busy!” at team meetings, he always kept us smiling. 😊

Having never played golf before joining Plassey, Mike soon became a keen golfer, making the most of his employee membership and enjoying plenty of laughs on the course with colleagues—usually followed by a pint of Guinness or two! 🍺

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, Mike. We wish you and your family all the very best for the future! 💚

📮🐦 Special Delivery in the Mail Room! 🐦📮

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had some very special tenants take up residence in our mail area!

A determined pair of Robins decided that one of our pigeonholes, nestled amongst the letters and parcels, was the perfect place to build their nest. Despite the daily hustle and bustle, they successfully raised an incredible brood of 5 healthy chicks. 🥰

Even more amazingly, all five fledglings took to the skies just 10 days after hatching – well ahead of the usual 13–16 day timetable! ✈️🌿

It has been a real privilege to watch nature unfold right on our doorstep and see this little family thrive.

Wishing our feathered residents all the best on their next adventure! ❤️🐦

💬 “Inspired by the Folly building that my Dad, Tony Brookshaw, created some 21 years ago, this oak timber-framed gazebo stands as a tribute to the kind of man he was — creative, determined, hardworking, and full of humour.

He brought joy to so many people throughout his life with developing The Plassey from a modest farm into the award-winning Holiday Park it is today.

It is my hope that this space will continue to bring happiness to all who visit for generations to come and I am proud to honour his memory in such a lasting and meaningful way.

We’ve been busy restocking our 3 fishing ponds with 50 2lb and 1000 3-5 inch Mirror & Common Carp and will join the Tench, Roach & Rudd in there already.

The ponds are just a 10 minute walk from
the Holiday Park, and perfectly suited to casual family fishing 🎣

All you need is your rod, tub of maggots & Rod License….all set to go!
