We’re delighted to welcome our new catering team, Ian Reid & Ian Lloyd-Simons, who will be taking over the Catering & Bar at Clays from Monday 28th September.

There are plenty of exciting plans ahead, including:

🕐 Extended opening hours

Ian and Ian already operate the catering and bars at five other golf clubs across the Wirral and North Wales, bringing plenty of experience within the golf industry.

**Protect fish stocks – support this petition.**

Many fisheries are facing significant predation pressure. The Angling Trust has long called for a licensing system that is practical, proportionate, and able to respond quickly where serious damage is evidenced: https://anglingtrust.net/2020/11/16/government-rejects-plea-to-add-cormorants-to-the-general-licence/

That’s why we are backing a parliamentary petition, started by the The National Gamekeepers' Organisation calling for cormorants, goosanders, and red-breasted mergansers to be added to Schedule 2.1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The change would allow more effective, evidence-based management where these fish-eating birds are causing serious damage to inland fisheries.
