We are pleased to say that on 6th July, the car park, visitor centre and all trails will reopen to the public with the following precautions in place...
Firstly we ask that if you, any member of your family or group show any of the symptoms of Covid-19 prior to your visit, you please stay at home and follow government guidance.
Car Park tickets are now available BY PRE-PURCHASE ONLY by following the link below.
As advised last week, unfortunately, there can be no car park tickets sold on the gate whilst social distancing regulations remain in force, so unless you have pre-purchased a ticket from our website, we kindly request that you do not visit.
Season ticket holders should use the coupon code - Season2020 - this will apply a 100% discount to the cost of your purchase, you will then be required to show your valid Season Ticket, along with your email confirmation of purchase, when you arrive at the car park.
Please note, as soon as we are confident the new systems we have implemented are all working well, we will review the pre-purchase car park ticket scheme with a view to returning to our normal system as quickly as possible. In the interim, please respect our local community, and do not travel unless you have pre-purchased a ticket.
We have implemented a new ‘click & collect’ takeaway service for the cafe. A full food, drinks and snacks menu will be available for order via our website. Orders will then be available for collection from the decking area. We have also installed free wifi outside the building and throughout the lower car park to facilitate this online ordering.
The Bike Shop will be open as normal, although we are required to limit the number of customers within the store at any one time in line with social distancing regulations. If you are interested in looking at a new bike, please call and we can book an appointment slot for you, allowing us the time and space to discuss your needs properly.
Bike Hire will not be available currently but will be reintroduced soon.
We will have hand sanitiser available at key areas around the building and will insist upon it being used by everyone prior to entry to the building.
The public toilets will be open and limited to a one-in-one-out policy for your safety.
We have also implemented an even more robust cleaning regime throughout the visitor centre and toilet areas in line with government guidelines.
We ask that during this reopening phase you please respect the new procedures in place to give our staff, fellow visitors and our local community the confidence to adjust to the ’new normal’ as quickly as possible.
