Just a quick reminder as we head towards the 2025 season, I am able to book return car ferry travel with Red Funnel ferries from Southampton or with Wightlink ferries from Portsmouth or Lymington at a heavily discounted rate.

It’s that time again, I can’t believe how quickly the seasons fly by…

A HUGE thank you to all our guests that stayed with us this year. We’ve met some wonderful new faces and pups! 🐶 And were lucky enough to welcome back many returning guests!

🎄We are now closed until christmas 🎄

After Christmas we will re-open for the 2025 season on the 14th of February.

🌻 July offer 🌻

We have a few dates left throughout July in The Farriers & The Dairy.

I am offering free ferry travel for all guests who book directly with us for the remaining July dates.

Return car ferry tickets can either be with Red Funnel from Southampton or Wightlink from Portsmouth or Lymington.

The Dairy can sleep up to 3 guests in a kingsize bedded room and a single bedded room.

The Farriers can sleep up to 4 guests in a kingsize bedded room and a bunk bedded room (full 3ft bunk bed).

Each cottage has an open planned kitchen, lounge diner with French doors leading out into an enclosed garden and a bathroom with walk in shower.

We have private access on site straight onto the Old Railway Line which is part of the 32 mile Red Squirel trail. We are surrounded by miles of bridleways and footpaths, perfect for walking, cycling and dog walking.

Don’t forget to bring your doggies along for the holiday. We allow up to 2 dogs per cottage at no extra cost.

Fancy a staycation this year? Visit us on the beautiful Isle of Wight!

Our cottages are the perfect base for exploring all the island has to offer. We are surrounded by miles of footpaths and bridleways right from your door step, perfect for the whole family 🐶

Today we went over to Freshwater. We walked over Tennyson Downs and along to The Needles attraction. We then got the Downs Breezer into Totland to explore some more!

Happy Easter! I hope you’ve had a lovely long weekend.

We spent our afternoon on Ventnor downs. Did you know you can walk along Wroxall and Ventnor downs right from your cottage door with no roads in sight! Or alternatively you can drive up to the downs. It’s 5 minutes down the road by car and there’s plenty of free parking when you arrive.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your bank holiday evening, I’m off to eat some more chocolate 🍫 😂
