Gas safety certificate on its way and now maybe a little more painting to get Lavender Cottage ready for a busy season. Who wouldn't want to be 20 minutes from the coast and within an hour of York, Newcastle or Durham?

So pleased to get another lovely review:

What a wonderful idyllic cottage and a wonderful host! This trip was actually for my mum, but I did go and visit on the Saturday and was blown away by how pretty Yarm and the cottage was! Victoria left a lovely hamper for my mum's arrival, and made it very easy getting there! Couldn't recommend it higher!

Delighted with our first review from guest Catherine and her family with two babies:
"Easy to find with parking outside and a great location just off the lovely high street. The living room and kitchen were a lovely surprise when we got there - very modern and spacious and the whole house was bigger than we thought it was going to be. The welcome basket full of goodies, milk and wine in the fridge were a big plus after a long journey with two little ones in tow! The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed - would definitely stay here again."
