Since all the fish in the one pool were taken by the otter , it's now teaming with some beautiful insects. So many different types of dragonflies. There's also some really huge blue ones . They would not land for me to take a photo. Can anyone name the ones I have managed to take pictures of? Also plenty of dragonfly larvae.

I haven’t added any music, just to show how peaceful this spot really is! It’s just a couple minutes away from Shire Escapes, a perfect walk for the dogs in this hot weather. As you have the shade from the woodland and they can stay hydrated from the pools! This is fishpool valley nearby Croft Castle 🌿🌲☀️

It's so tempting to run from the sauna to jump into the plunge pool. Who would do it with me ...... You?

An otter paid a visit last night and took every single fish. Some of those fish were beautiful. All is not lost as we can get some more lily pads now, as the fish aren't there to eat them .
