🔥 Quite a sight from a couple of weeks ago…
This hill fire was around a 20-minute drive from the Shepherds Huts, but the huge plume of smoke could be seen from the huts.
An incredible sight, and a reminder of just how quickly the landscape can change during a dry spell.
Thankfully, it was a good distance away from us. 🌿

The thunder and rain may have brought darker evenings, but they also gave us this beautiful sunset from the Dragonfly Hut. 🌅

Since all the fish in the one pool were taken by the otter , it's now teaming with some beautiful insects. So many different types of dragonflies. There's also some really huge blue ones . They would not land for me to take a photo. Can anyone name the ones I have managed to take pictures of? Also plenty of dragonfly larvae.
