PART TIME KITCHEN CLEANER (flexible hours over night i.e 10pm-6am twice a week)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter and/or cleaner to join our busy kitchen team.
This roll is not suitable for students looking for summer work as it will be on permanent basis.
The role will be on a full time basis or a potentially a part time basis if you are prepared to work overnight shifts to clean the kitchen whilst it is not in service. Example 10pm until 6am (2 days a week)

🔹 Main duties may include:
• Operating commercial cleaning equipment
• Washing, drying & restacking kitchen equipment, crockery & utensils
• Keeping kitchen non-prep areas clean and organised
• Assisting with deliveries, waste disposal & recycling
• Helping maintain clean and tidy store areas
• Deep Cleaning Kitchen Equipment: Dismantle, degrease, and sanitise heavy-duty equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, hobs, • • Ventilation & Extraction: Assist with specialist cleaning of kitchen extraction filters and hoods.
• Deep Cleaning Floors & Drains: Sweep, mop, and degrease floors, ensuring drains, grease traps, and hard-to-reach areas are free of food debris and bacteria.
• Waste Management: Safely empty bins, manage commercial waste disposal, and maintain clean wash/bin areas.
✅ The ideal candidate will:
• Work well as part of a team, but also be able to manage their own work space
• Be adaptable in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Be willing to learn and follow direction
• Understand food safety & health and safety procedures
Experiance of similar roles is not essential but would be preferred – This role is ideal for anyone looking to start or grow a career in hospitality, or simply looking for steady work in a welcoming team.
