Recent branding design for our client - Bluebell Petite which is a children’s boutique based in Boston Spa, Wetherby.

We been very excited to show off this playful, enchanting brand as we were captivated by designs! That are strongly influenced by the spirit, innocence and freedom of childhood.

Like La Luna, Rebecca’s designs are inspired by the natural world & flowers.

Design is expensive. When should you hire a designer?

Here are our 3 golden rules for determining when you should re-brand (swipe through the images too!)

1. You're not attracting your dream client.
You're making sales but you're wondering how your competition always gets to work with the coolest people

2. You're feeling uninspired.

We hear this on consult calls all the time - "I just feel like my brand doesn't represent me and I don't even want to do anything to promote my business right now because I don't enjoy my brand".

We all have our set of dream clients that we feel aligned to work with! Today, I'm just going share mine with you all.

Finding these clients can be so rare that when you see one you just immediately jump into the project. It's one of my goals to manifest these dream clients into my business. Working with brands that you feel excited and hyped up to brand their business is just so much fun! It just feels like you have to do your best to create an awesome visual identity for them and its at that time that you are really in tune with your creativity and passion!

1. You have set up the right budget.

This is very important because you wanted your designer to be compensated right for all their hard work and effort to bring your vision to life. You have to value their work and skills because it's not an easy job. Always remember that branding is an investment.

2. You have your visions and ideas prepared.

As a business owner, you need to know what's right got your audience and clients. You need to base your business's image according to what you want your ideal clients to perceive you. That is why having a set of ideas and visions for your branding will help your designer quide you to the right creative direction you want to take your business.

3. You had done research

Of course! You always, always need to research which designer you wanted to work with. You need to know their style and aesthetics just an overall look on their portfolio and see if they're a good match for the brand you want to create. A lot of designers have different styles and design processes you just need to find the one that works best for you.

4. You trust your designer.

This is a BIG one! you need to be able to feel secure with your designer and know that you ate in good hands. You also need to respect their opinion in terms of the design aspect because
it's their expertise. You hired them for their skills so you should be able to trust their judgement. In the end, your business will greatly benefit from these.

5. You are ready to work as a team.

After you build trust in your designer, you are now ready to take on the next step which is working as a team. You and your designer will work hand in hand to create your dream branding. This will not work if you have not established boundaries and proper communication with your designer.
