Our WM Jim and his team initiated another Jim this week. A fantastic ceremony where we were honoured to receive W.Bro Andrew Popely, the Representative of the new Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro Mark Iveson.

Another great evening at Eboracum on Monday. Jim completed his 3rd degree and we had a number of visitors from Palatine Lodge in Sunderland as well as several local lodges. The Palatine brethren were on a Masonic Tour of York and visited Duncombe Place, the home of York Lodge, on Tuesday afternoon then Alcuin Lodge in the evening. Wednesday is a visit to the Masons Loft in the Minster. And WBro David donated a copy of his new book commemorating 150 years of Eboracum Lodge.

A night of two Patricks last week. We initiated Patrick into Eboracum Lodge and then we celebrated St Patrick at the Festive Board.

As well as an initiation on the 9th March we will be celebrating St Patrick at the Festive Board. Songs, toasts and readings are the order of the day. Jim is looking forward to taking over the headgear from George.

We have an initiation on Monday 9th March, all York area lodges should have received a copy of the summons. The Masters of Alcuin Lodge and Mitre Lodge are invited as guests of Eboracum for this meeting, all other members are welcome.

Another great night at Eboracum Lodge on Monday when David was Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. We had 26 members in attendance and were joined by 7 visitors.
