In three days, the streets around Hocus Pocus will fill once more with witches, wanderers, spirits, and strange souls drawn together from across the country.

From 6 pm, the Coven will gather outside the hotel. There will be blessings, entertainment, room tours, curious characters, complimentary drinks, and our Coven Couture Contest.

As darkness settles over York, Mad Alice from will lead the gathering into the city's ancient streets, where old stories still linger in the shadows.

The event remains completely free to attend.

For those who have secured a Purple Band, please meet Mad Alice outside Hocus Pocus Hotel at your allocated time slot of either 10am or 12pm to begin your exclusive Coven experience.

A small number of 10am Purple Band places still remain. Although bands will no longer be posted out, they can still be purchased through the shop on our website and collected from Mad Alice when you arrive.

For one evening, Patrick Pool will become home to blessings, music, stories, chamber tours, strange characters, and familiar faces returning from years gone by.

The Coven has grown each year, yet the reason remains the same: to bring people together.

The gathering is completely free to attend. Simply arrive at 6 pm on Saturday, 20th June, outside Hocus Pocus York and join us.

A week from now, the sage will be burning, and the streets will begin to stir.
